Called for Orion gathering. Didn't want to say its for bday celebration cos lidat very biased, didn't celebrate for other Orion members... So anyways, in the end less than 1/3 came! Should've said its bday celebration loe, I tink more people would give face. Hahaha... I got not enuf power in Orion to actually make everyone take time out...
Had lunch at the 麻辣火锅 restaurant. Ate for about 2 hours, then Jocelyn brought the cake =) Fruit cake! I tink it tastes quite nice cos the taste wasn't too strong, that's why we still managed to finish it though we were all quite full already. Sang song for the both of them, then maybe the waitress tink we sang too badly or wat, she on bday song for us through the amplifier! The funny part was, after some time, she came over and asked "可以关了吗?" (can I off it already?) xD hahahaha... Birthday gals making wish... Actually they are just posing for me to take pic. Shangyi: Ask me pose some more! Threaten u with Pris! Haha relax relax, 有话好好说，别动枪动刀的... =P "Hold hands cut cake" = Hold hands then cut cake?! xD Hello dun understand singlish huh? It means cut the cake together! =P
Went to J8 with Shang Yi, Jolyn and Shangyi after lunch. Wanted to catch a movie but there wasn't any timings good for us. So we went to the arcade and Shangyi treat us to some games! Heehee... Then Shangyi and I left for Thomson Plaza. Had dinner with her parents and godparents. Thank you for the treat! Whilst Shangyi's mum was looking at some towels, we spotted Cookie Monster's friend! What's his name huh? =P

28th June Mummy sent Shangyi and I to Labrador Park. Cathleen coincidentally reached at around the same time. Their car was just behind ours =) The time was about 8.45am. Air was fresh and weather was good in the morning. Tsk tsk tsk... What are both of u doing huh? Cat, Shangyi and I were there not there on a date. We were there to... Paint murals on pillars! Ms.Lye summoned us there to help her department with the CIP project. Some of her MOE colleagues were there too! Ta-dah! Our final work. Group effort paid off. The end result looked quite nice! Especially those jelly fishes! =D had lotsa fun painting those tentacles =P Slacked around under the shades upon completion of work... Cat's so high! =D What's Xinli doing? xD Looks as if Mei Hung's on holiday somewhere abroad! =P mum says the famous 龙牙门 (Dragon Tooth Gate) is somewhere there, see that small hill? Heard of it in sec school Social Studies before... =P Saw a super big bee on our way back to the main pavilion... It was very windy, the waves were hitting hard against the shores... Cat enjoys munching on Pringles. Looks so happy arh she... Hahaha... Packing up =P teachers are playful too! Hahaha... Enjoying the cool breeze...
Then a teacher, think she's named Ms.Mok, tompang me, Cat, Shangyi and Huay Han to Vivocity while Mei Hung and Xinli followed another teacher's car with Ms.Lye and Ms.Hew. Had lunch at secret recipe! =) Ordered Spaghetti with Chicken Meatballs. Chose this cos there's rarely chicken meatballs. I tink the sauce is too dilute and the meatballs aren't crispy enuf =P but the spaghetti is soft and "bouncy", which is good. Ms.Lye paid for us in the end! Thank you so much... She didn't have to, but she did! Wouldn't have ordered drink if I knew she was paying. Luckily my food was one of the cheapest, if not I would feel bad =P its funny how I wasn't even taught by the art teachers, yet I feel closer to them than some of my own teachers =)
After that, Cat, Shangyi, Huay Han and I took train to Clarke Quay and walked to Esplanade. Was running and walking so super fast cos we were rushing to watch Cheng Hong perform. We were all panting like crazy by the time we stepped into the library. By the time we reached, her performance was over. Gave her a "bouquet of rabbits". So sorry we didn't manage to listen to u play! Sat down on the carpet and listened to other pianists from her teacher's music school. Her teacher played duet with a male student for finale.
Having had enough rest, Shangyi, Cat, Cheng Hong and I travelled to ECP... Finally reached after a long train ride, a long wait and a long bus ride! The scenery made all the time spent travelling worthwhile... I took out my groundsheet and we relaxed by the beach. The sand was soft, the breeze was cool, the sky was blue, the sound of waves was therapeutic... Gave Shangyi her present from Cat and I... Its a London guidebook and a scrapbook! It was designed by Cat... I wasn't as artistic, contributed some pics and my favourite quotes... See if she's tearing... =P Totally enjoying the beach experience =) I love the feeling of lying down on the beach and doing nothing, just appreciating the surroundings and one another's presence, chatting randomly... =) lets do it again some other time! =P
Went for dinner when the sky turned dark and we deem it time to eat. Walked to where all the restaurants are clustered and had dinner at HK cafe. The food was ok, the service was bad. After that, walked all the way to Big Splash. Wanted to catch fireworks and sing bday song for Shangyi there, so walked extremely fast... But I got cheated by NFC. No fireworks came up. Sadded. We were trapped outside of ECP cos the way into the beach was all fenced up... So we ended up singing for Shangyi... At the Road Safety Centre carpark xD So sorry! Hope u like the brownies and presents =) Then we played with sparklers there and then! Woohoo~~ Hahaha... No fireworks, make do with sparklers bah! They're all bright and pretty! Just more mini... =P Very unconventional to celebrate birthday in carpark... It would stay in my memory for sure =)
Then D-kor came to pick us up, just in time! Thank you D-kor and YP jie for sending all my friends back! =D
